I have noticed lately that sometimes when I am typing in a forum such as this one or on other sites, JAWS doesn't always talk. Therefore, I can't catch mistakes or correct them. It talks sometimes, but at others it just indicates that a line is "blank" or says "space" when I hit the backspace over a character instead of saying the character. I like to be an accurate typist, but this is difficult when I don't get the auditory feedback. Does anyone know if there is something I can do when posting on this or other sites to make sure JAWS always talks and repeats what I am typing?
yai! did you want help? well, if you have any messenger or any weather service program, disable it if it is at startup. I had this problem with another user and I contacted freedom scientific for the same reason. If you are in something like google, you need to open the same page in a new window and the form will work as espected. Thats why I don't have so much mistakes. However, I have the echo in internet to none since I don't like the way it sounds when I press tab or another key reppeateddly in certain websites, so I am not so worried about the feedback. Hope that helps
This problem is common. Do you have the window fully maximized? Have you tried turning off jaws and restarting it?

Hi, it's src333, and I've had that problem when I've written email messages. I've found out that sometimes, it's the window not being fully maximized, and sometimes, if you've fiddled around in the control pannel, it's unchecking or checking a box or two...
What he's refering to is the cursor blank rate in the accessibility options in the control pannel.
